A bit about me

I was first introduced to the world of birth in Hawaii in 2008.

After following Hawaiian Lomi Lomi Massage I fell in love with the island lifestyle and culture.

There I was approached by a local midwife asking me to accompany her tending to women birthing their babies at home. I loved seeing women experience and embrace their wild feminine nature during their sacred act of birth, it was mind growing. I went on to study as a doula with some local home birth legends Dee Anne Domnick and Mala Landt, they looked like Goddesses to me and had so much birth wisdom to share.

During that time I fell in love with a Hawaiian and found myself navigating our first pregnancy.

I intuitively came back to Australia to give birth at the local hospital.

Then returned to Hawaii to get pregnant and returned once again to give birth.

I officially moved back to Australia in 2013 after the relationship became abusive. I marvel at the body and mind in how it moves so swiftly and quickly when it prioritises safety, especially with children.

As a single mother I dove deep into Kundalini Yoga, tuning into spirit and my intuitive compass.

I went on to study Midwifery in 2015 and graduated in 2019.

I worked at the same hospital I gave birth years prior.

In the hospital environment whether I was an employee or a patient, I felt judged, bullied, coerced, disrespected and experienced subtle and in your face obvious racism.

My concerns were always dismissed and I was seen as radical and disobedient.

Despite most midwives having a good heart, they are trained obstetric nurses and true women centered care was simply a myth and verbal slogan of an invisible standard.

I decided to leave the hospital workplace in 2023 and surrendered my registration in 2024.

My children are my everything along with the ocean and the bees.

I am also the main carer for my mother who lives with Alzheimers.

I feel so blessed and honoured to serve women in my home and women in my community in completely different ways, all being sacred women's work.

My pregnancy support is authentic and unique,

I serve a spiritual prospective first while still being grounded into the physical.

I observe birth as a sacred event a woman is given to experience and connect to her capable spirit

and her ultimate mother nature.

Her limits are stretched as she embraces her wild, instinctual side,

surrendering to the process, with fierce primal power.

Channelling the strength of those that birthed before her,

allowing herself to be transformed and ready for the next chapter of her life.

As a mother, a massage therapist & birth witness

I offer my time infused with my experience and knowledge to enhance and enrich your experience.

Birth is sacred, lets keep it that way.
